Visiting Provence with Sophie
Sophie is a Julie's German friend (Julie is one of my niece )
She stayed a few day in my home
to visit Provence
Our first stop was Grignan ( un joli village provençale ), near of my home

She was a French aristocrat and writer,
famous for her letter-writing,
addressed to her daughter, "La comtesse de Grignan".
She is one of the great icons of French literature.
