Do you like Bamboo ?

La bambouseraie was created in 1856 by a botanist, Eugène MAZEL

The garden opens to the public in 1953
and are used as a location for a french film by Henri-Clouzot
starring Yves Montand and Charles Vanel "Le Salaire de la Peur".

Le salaire de la peur

Eugène Mazel planted his first species by acclimatizing species from countries
such as China, Japan, North America and the Himalayas.

Champagne VS Clairette de Die

Everybody knows the Champagne but what about the Clairette de Die ?

Both are sparkling wines,

Both are only produced in specific Regions of France ( AOC )

Champagne
La Région champenoise

But Production methods are different...

And also the price !!

  •  less than 10 € for a wonderful Clairette de Die,
  • From 30 euros to ...? for a good Champagne ( Never forget : the best are not the most expensive and the most famous )

    carte
    La région dioise

    What about tasting ?

  • Sharp and fruity for the Clairette de Die
  • Full-bodied and fruity, sharp and fruity, supple and round, young and powerful...... it depends of the types of Champagne ( Rosé, Prestige cuvée... )

Champagne....with a simple sprig of lavender...... www.tablescapesbydesign.com https://www.facebook.com/pages/Tablescapes-By-Design/129811416695

Le lac de Sainte Croix

During our mother-daughter 's trip,
we made a stop at the lake Sainte Croix,
the largest lake in Provence.

The weather was very cloudy, so we don't see the green water lake.

Normally the water color is like that:
